Graphics Artist

We are looking to hire an experienced and knowledgeable Graphics Artist who will contribute to the process of design development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Director- China, the Graphics Artist reproduces the landscape concept into visually appealing, eye-catching designs and illustrations including sketches, schematics or high-quality renderings and 2D or 3D visuals;
  • Prepare and develop production material, including selection of appropriate imagery, CAD plans, CAD details, working sketches, basic SketchUp modelling, formatting reports/presentations;
  • Production of Computer Generated Images for proposed designs, normally as a part of the Concept and/or Schematic Design stages for which a thorough knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop essential. Hand sketching skills and a knowledge of Rhino, 3D Max and Revit desirable but not essential;
  • Develop design material under the direction of senior staff;
  • Accept task allocation, ensure clear understanding of briefing, deliver on time and meet or exceed requirements;
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all design stages and the production deliverables associated with each;
  • Assist the director in preparing design deliverables/reports bilingually in accordance with company’s QA/QC requirements.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • High proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Creative Suite, Photoshop, In design and MS Office
  • Experience in using BIM related technologies (such as REVIT) in Landscape Architecture would be an advantage

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in landscape or design related fields from a reputable Chinese university
  • Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma from a UK university in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
  • Fluency with Chinese (Mandarin) and English, verbal and written
