    Job Overview

    We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and friendly SEO/Marketing Specialist who will be responsible and have the expertise to improve marketing effectiveness.  

    The role will be a highly collaborative one within the marketing team in creating promotional collateral. This will include social media management, illustrated website content, e-newsletter content, and intranet management, but it could also include activities such as CV production, project sheet production, and event promotion.

    The role will report to Associate – Marketing & BD. The position will largely be office based in Makati, Manila and will involve much collaboration with colleagues in London, Lugano and Dubai as well as across Cracknell’s global offices. 

    Primary Activities:

    • Develop sound understanding of the Company Brand, Story, Mission, Vision and Values.
    • Use SEMrush and SEO/SEM techniques to support agreed marketing campaigns, drive traffic and suggest new leads to align with business development goals.
    • Develop on-page SEO optimization strategies that increase the company’s website search engine results rankings including taking responsibility for page optimization for search engine marketing.
    • Work with the marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing.
    • Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new relevant keywords to use throughout the company website and marketing materials.
    • Research latest SEO best practice including AI based AO practice and web-based technological developments Cracknell must stay abreast of to maintain competitiveness.
    • Prepare monthly report with measurable stats on website performance, SEO recommendations for external marketing, work leads recruitment.
    • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
    • Develop existing SEO Strategy and executes an off-page optimization link building strategy to align with business development goals, using white hat techniques.
    • Suggests changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions and AO algorithm compatibility for target keywords.
    • Perform changes to website architecture in WordPress where appropriate or coordinates with website developers to manage beneficial changes under the leadership of the Associate – Marketing & BD.
    • Determine measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in SEO focused marketing efforts for inclusion in monthly Management Report
    • Monitor daily performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google Analytics to understand SEO strategy performance.
    • Prepare competitive social media in line with the agreed calendar and under the supervision and leadership of the Associate-Marketing & BD/Marketing Specialist.
    • Monitor performance of social media and prepares monthly report with measurable stats on competitive performance, recommendations for changes in strategy and staff engagement.
    • Maintain website, intranet, e-newsletter and related content on a regular basis and to brand standards.
    • Assist with preparation of high-quality project sheets and CVs to templates, event promotion, award submissions, PR and presentation preparation as necessary.
    • Work closely with the commercial and bidding team where necessary to assist in the production of high value illustrated bids, preparation of high-quality project sheets and CVs to templates.
    • Assist with quality control and metatagging for the image library.
    • Coordinate with all staff disciplines, e.g. architects, graphic artists, quantity surveyors, engineers, landscape designers, urban designers, etc.

     

    Technical Competencies: 

    • Updated on search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and AI/AO applications to drive marketing strategy.
    • Deeply consider content marketing, including client psychology, target audience, social media, web design, and business goals.
    • Understand consultancy business operations, AEC industries, and related environmental and technical issues.
    • Emphasize storytelling and compelling narrative for marketing strategy support.
    • Possess creative, innovative written English and graphic presentation skills.
    • Maintain a friendly and approachable manner, considering design teams’ deadlines.
    • Proficient in WordPress, Yoast, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
    • Experience in managing and updating website content, as well as configuration and development of SharePoint.
    • Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Hootsuite, MailChimp, and worldwide statutory copyright legislation.
    • Good understanding of copyright legislation, commercial/legal confidentiality requirements, and privacy/duty of care requirements.
    • Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, prioritize tasks, and translate a brand story into marketing messages and graphics.

    • Effective and creative communication skills (verbal, written and graphic) in English. Excellent vocabulary and accurate written English is a must.

    Position Requirements:

    • BSc (Hons) or BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture/Architecture/Urban Planning/Graphic Design/Business Development/Marketing or equivalent.
    • 2 years post-graduate experience in an architecture/landscape architecture practice or related AEC or graphics industry.
    • An understanding of social media and digital communication trends in the MENA region, China, UK and Europe would be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of some Arabic language may also be an advantage.
    • A keen interest in the value of effective ESG strategies within the built environment sector may also be an advantage.
