Nurturing the city’s innovative spirit, d3 will place Dubai on the global design map and as the landscape designers for the development, Cracknell is delighted to be involved in bringing to life this latest vision for Dubai. The ‘Meet d3’ event in early April marked the official opening and celebrated a rich international array of creative talent and all things design, something we are very passionate about.
Cracknell has been appointed to provide full landscape services for phase 1 of the d3 development. The landscape design focuses on creating seamless outdoor spaces which connect various buildings and merge with the ground floor interior. “Our clients are extremely delighted with Cracknell’s landscape design which is currently under completion around the north buildings of d3” comments Mr Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, COO, Dubai Design District (d3).
In addition to this focus, Cracknell is developing a flexible, predominantly hardscape solution that will be suitable for hosting ‘pop-up’ events such as ‘Meet d3’. “Our mission with every project we undertake is to create living landscapes; places where people come together to work, play and live” says Paul Cracknell, Executive Chairman. “Underpinning every design vision is ensuring that what we create does indeed enhance the visual and active experience for people. We cannot be more thrilled than to see this vision come to life at events such as ‘Meet d3’. The outdoor spaces Cracknell has created provide the perfect setting for design, art, music, fashion and dining occasions such as this.”
