    Winning competition design for 8Ha of urban linear parks and public realm spaces that draw on the site’s railway heritage and visually and physically connect the Qianhai Bay to Dananshan Mountain.

    Establishing a new benchmark for urban lifestyle for the city, a series of truly global destination spaces, with a bold contemporary style, resonate with echoes of the historic trading routes.

    Shenzhen Greenway

    The Shenzhen Reservoir, built in the 1960s in an effort to overcome the harsh drought, has since become a serene spot for locals and tourists to immerse themselves in nature, whilst exploring the country’s history.


    New greenway trails have been designed with lush planting, gathering spots and viewing decks, connecting the existing trails around the Shenzhen Reservoir areas. North and South trails encourage walking, cycling, and relaxing in a densely populated modern city, improving well-being and quality of life for Shenzhen residents.

    Yi You

    Yi You has 20 years’ experience as a landscape architect and urban designer in the UK and China. As Director of the China office, he is responsible for regional market business development and liaises with international and local clients and consultants to maintain sound professional relationships, and he oversees the design and
    management of multi-scale landscape, urban design and masterplanning projects.

    Yi You is passionate about the creation of integrated public realm and meaningful places that achieve a balance between social, environmental, and economic sustainability

    Xiaomeisha Beach Park & Hotel

    Xiaomeisha is located in Yantian District on the long coastline of Dapeng Bay in the east of Shenzhen.

    It is a famous seaside tourist resort with sandy beaches, hospitality and a major aquarium. It will now be enhanced by significant beachside public realm and a major brand hotel. The resort is designed in a series of terraced layers to manage tidal ingress whilst maintaining the design integrity.
