Aphrodite Hills

This tranquil resort and residential complex rests in a historic hillside landscape whose myths and archaeological findings speak of the ancient history of the Eastern Mediterranean. Aphrodite Hills has a busy village at the centre of a network of rural roads serving hotels, spas, sports facilities and residences all nestling into a much-preserved natural setting.

In the hotel gardens, drawing on the natural elements of the surrounding countryside rugged rocks enclose the swimming pools and natural greenery, created from the local plant palette, is arranged to complement the original contours.

Outdoor activities influenced the site planning, with the golf course combining with pitch and court sports on a facility used often for elite team training e.g the British Olympic Team in 2004.
