Red Sea Village

A mixed use community waterfront development taking design inspiration from the ocean fringe.

Seven neighbourhood districts with varying land uses include mixed-use, commercial, hospitality and residential zones. The public open space includes waterfront plazas and beaches as well as vibrant active streetscapes.

Landscape design vocabulary draws from the patterns and bursts of sea life colours, coral textures and the refraction of light on the sea bed.

    Jeddah Economic City

Creating landmark districts with unique character in a world class development. Set to become a star attraction for business and tourism, Jeddah Economic City will include residential, hospitality, civic and entertainment facilities.

Jeddah Tower will be its centrepiece and the world’s tallest building once completed, with a setting that creates the ultimate vibrant urban entertainment and mixed use district.

    SALT Al Bahar, KSA

Gourmet burger brand SALT has opened the first phase of its resort on the beaches of Khobar, KSA. Synonymous with quality food and a welcoming restaurant atmosphere, the SALT Resort offers a relaxed and youthful beach lifestyle.

We took advantage of the horizon views and expanse of golden sand to create a distinct ‘instagrammable’ identity for the brand’s premiere journey into the leisure destination sector. The idyllic setting provides informal outdoor relaxation areas, beach sports and water activities, an outdoor cinema, amphitheatre, recreational game and play spaces, and an events lawn for larger groups. In contrast, viewing decks, cabanas and gardens, allow for private moments to look out over the shimmering Arabian Gulf.

Rosewood Amaala Resort, Red Sea, KSA

Cracknell is currently working on three resort communities comprised of exclusive hotels, villas and accompanying luxury sport and health amenities, connected to the Red Sea and spread across diverse landscapes from coastal to mountainous.

A contemporary interpretation of natural landscape structures, such as the spikes of mangrove aerial roots.
