We are looking to hire an experienced and competent MEP Engineer to support our design and technical teams in UAE.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing MEP design and construction support for landscape projects of various complexity and scale. The role includes both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities, working under the guidance of senior design and technical staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Primary Activities:
- Carry out MEP pre-contract design and documentation including planning, engineering, technical design, detailed drawings, and specifications.
- Provide post-contract construction support, including site inspections and contractor supervision, ensuring work is executed as per design, quality, and safety standards.
- Perform technical analysis and design planning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including construction sequencing and project scheduling.
- Review MEP material and systems requirements such as electricity, lighting, plumbing, safety, fire, and automation systems.
- Evaluate energy-saving, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly design options.
- Assist with technical design pricing, design and technical specifications packs required for construction contract tendering.
- Coordinate with CAD/BIM, design teams, and other technical disciplines to prepare the technical analysis and planning, detailed design and coordination of MEP related materials, systems, drawings, design documentation and submittals
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to apply professional knowledge in MEP engineering for landscape design projects with varying complexities including plumbing and drainage.
- Proficient in designing MEP systems that are energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and aligned with design intent.
- Good understanding of technical codes, HSE, QA/QC, and ISO standards.
- Familiarity with other related design, engineering, and construction disciplines.
- Skilled in reviewing technical specifications, drawings, reports, proposals, and contract documents.
- Competent in performing site inspections to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of CAD; working knowledge of BIM/Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and MS Office.
- Experience in designing pump stations, plumbing networks for large water features and swimming pools would be preferred.

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in landscape or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Physical fitness and ability to conduct site visits as required
