Sheikha Fatima Park

With a focus on healthy living, sports and getting outdoors with the family, we worked with Benoy to give the local community an invigorating space to get together and have fun.

A network of running trails lined with flowering shrubs and shady trees, mountain bike tracks, pump tracks, sports courts, a skate park, splash pads and industrial style cafés have quickly made this park the place to be.

Vast tree canopies shading the long vistas down the avenues of patterned brick pathways characterise this popular community park next to the landmark Adnoc HQ.

With picnic areas, benches and gazebos there are myriad spots from which to watch the abundant bird population and be immersed in nature. A central water fountain, rest room and play areas add to the family-focused amenities.

    Dubai Mall

mall landscape design Dubai Mall, Dubai, UAE

The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest and most-visited retail and entertainment destination, welcoming more than 80M visitors annually.

The development includes a five-star hotel, over 12M square feet of retail, an aquarium, high-profile VIP entrances and a lakeside promenade central to the space. Given the extremely high footfall, the landscape design caters to the unique needs of the space.

The promenade forms a platform flexible enough to accommodate festival celebrations, seasonal fashion and brand events and art exhibitions. Durable landscape materials and finishes withstand the high number of visitors whilst creating a clear and easily navigable space for crowds.

    Sulaimaniah Guidelines

landscape design Sulaimaniah Guidelines, Jeddah, KSA

Generous shaded streets with wide footpaths and high-quality street furniture provide attractive green connectors between the districts of Darb Al Haramain, its destinations and amenities, parks and plazas, creating walkable neighbourhoods that foster social connection & a sense of community.

The design encourages slower vehicular traffic and travel on foot or by bicycle. The positioning of the metro station at the heart of the development allows ease of access to the public transit system.

Ensuring communication of the design intent and a cohesive experience for residents & the working community, these landscape guidelines set out public realm parameters for individual developers to work within, over a phased period of time.

    City Walk

A European-styled public realm integrating colour and play. Since its expansion City Walk has become one of Dubai’s most beloved shopping and dining destinations. Working closely with Benoy and AECOM, the public spaces of City Walk were designed by Cracknell as a human-scaled urban environment, offering classic and contemporary outdoor lifestyle experiences.

City Walk’s hardscape design uses a modern international style and explores the drama and colour of the development’s outdoor connectivity, lightshows and media screens. Open plazas and European-styled boulevards are encircled by a connected pedestrian plaza. A centrepiece of the development, the Luxury Courtyard, takes inspiration from traditional Italian courtyard design.

City Walk comes alive at night, where it’s a safe and controlled environment for visitors to enjoy the shopping, dining and entertainment on offer.
